Back in March, Jersey Premier Brass travelled to Stevenage to compete at the 2026 London & Southern Counties Regional Championships, taking on a strong field of bands in the Second Section.
We are delighted to share that our performance earned us 3rd place overall, securing qualification for the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain Finals later this year. The result marked another significant milestone for the band and is a testament to the hard work, commitment and dedication shown by every player, our Musical Director and everyone who supports us behind the scenes.
Representing Jersey on the national stage is a tremendous honour, and we are incredibly proud to have earned our place amongst the country’s finest Second Section bands. Qualification from the London & Southern Counties Region is always fiercely contested, making this achievement even more special.
As we look ahead to the National Finals, preparations are already underway. We can’t wait to take Jersey’s brass banding talent to the next level and compete against the very best from across Great Britain.
