On 19 July, our Musical Director Jay Mildren took on a very different kind of challenge … a sponsored skydive!
The aim was to help raise £2,500 towards the band’s trip to the National Brass Band Championships in York this September, where Jersey Premier Brass will proudly represent Jersey on the national stage.
The skydive may be over, but the fundraising continues.
Your support will help the band cover the significant costs of travelling and staying in York, purchasing music, maintaining instruments and meeting the everyday costs of keeping a community brass band performing. We’re also working towards funding a much-needed new set of timpani.
